Rental Terms & Conditions

Please find below the terms that guests must agree to when renting the camp:

1. Reservations must be in advance and require a 20% deposit to secure your booking.

2. Guests are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their belongings during their stay.

3. Any damage to camp property must be reported immediately and may incur additional charges.

4. Guests must adhere to all camp terms & conditions, listed below, including check-in and check-out times, quiet times, fire safety and cleaning requirements.

 

By confirming your reservation, you agree to these terms and conditions for an enjoyable camping experience.

Group Insurance

  1. Liability Insurance is required for all organizations sponsoring an event.

  2. A Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing Camp Hope as an additional insured is required 30 days prior to arrival date. The minimum limits of the insurance should be $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate.

  3. Send a valid COI as an attachment to an email with Subject Line: COI for (name of organizations) to camphope@camphope-wa.org or

  4. Copy of COI may also be sent via postal mail to: Camp Hope PO Box 2464 Battle Ground, WA 98604

Fire Safety

  1. FIREWORKS are PROHIBITED at ALL TIMES.

  2. Campfires are allowed in fire pits only.

  3. Fire Bans: If Clark County or WA State prohibit open fires, guests may only use portable propane and charcoal.

  4. Smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are installed in each cabin. Tampering with either is prohibited.

Prohibited Items

The following are NOT PERMITTED:                                                                      

  1. Alcohol, marijuana, and street drugs.

  2. Firearms, Fireworks.

  3. Water balloon fights. Swimming pools.

Guests may be required to leave immediately if this policy is violated.

Cleaning Responsibilities

  1. A $250 Cleaning and Damage Deposit is REQUIRED at CHECK-IN. Payment by check or credit card is acceptable.

  2. To ensure return of the Cleaning Deposit, each group must clean all spaces in accordance with the GUEST CLEANING CHECKLIST. Prior to check-out camp users must:

    1. Move all garbage to the dumpster and remove all personal property.

    2. Cabins: Sweep floors, bunks and shelves.

    3. Shelters: Sweep concrete, wipe tables, clean refrigerator.

    4. Bath House: Clean sinks, showers, counter tops and toilets. Sweep and mop floors.

    5. Dining Patio: Clean the tables, counter tops, sinks, refrigerators, freezers and camp grills.

Traffic Control

  1. Roper Road is a narrow, one-lane gravel road off State Route 503 north of Battle Ground, WA.

  2. Traffic control is not provided by Camp Hope. Staggered drop off and pick-up times for large groups are recommended. Speed Limit is 10 mph.

  3. Follow road direction signs; the interior road is one-way that circles the camp. Speed Limit is 5 MPH throughout the campground.

Pets, Horses & Petting Zoos

  1. Pets must always be leashed or contained.

  2. Livestock must be tied off, corralled, or trailered when not being ridden.

It is the responsibility of animal owners to clean up after their pets and livestock.
